From the Archive
The Alta Collection Chardonnay shows good freshness and restraint, no doubt the combination of a cool place (San Pablo in the Uco Valley) in a cool vintage, plus the hand of an experienced winemaker like Jean-Claude Berrouet. There are balsamic notes intermixed with white flowers and a subtle hint of oak. The palate shows very good balance and pungent flavors, long and fresh. Deliciously classical."
