From the Archive
Born on a hillside with warm granite soils overlooking Turckheim, this Pinot Gris blends scents of honey and candied citrus.
Southeast exposure, it rises to an altitude of 380m. Resting on a substrate of granite known as Turckheim, with two weathered mica, it offers a sandy and coarse soil. These aromas explode on the palate supported by a fairly fresh structure which gives the wine a dashing youthful appearance and which will allow it to wait two or three years. This mellow will go well with a pan-fried foie gras with mandarins or a cooked cheese.
