Chardonnay Sunchase Vineyard Petaluma Gap AVA 2015
This 2015 Pellet Estate Chardonnay from the Sunchase Vineyard in the nascent Petaluma Gap offers a luminous expression of coastal California chardonnay ripe with orchard fruits and a whisper of savory complexity. It unfolds with sun‑kissed pineapple, honeydew melon and early‑season nectarine underlain by green apple and cut hay, finishing with a creamy almond nuance for depth.

From the Archive
This classically barrel fermented wine is produced from the Sunchase Vineyard, perched high above the fog at an elevation of between 900-1,400', where the Petaluma Wind Gap collides with Sonoma Mountain just over the Napa County border. The cool ocean breezes & moderate sunshine, paired with fractured rocky clay soil consistently produces distinguished Chardonnay. About 185 cases produced.
