Healthy dark red. Aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, licorice, rock and game are slightly wild in an enticing way. At once rich and juicy in the mouth, with firm acidity giving the black fruit flavors a penetrating quality for the wine. This very concentrated village offering finishes with surprising length and firm mineral-driven acidity, and may be in the process of shutting down in bottle.

Gevrey Chambertin Seuvrees: 70% of the stems were included in the fermentation process, rich sweet fruit and very concentrated this has a 1er cru level of quality with extremely small yields of 20 HL/Ha. The vineyard is across from Mazoyeres Chambertin Grand Cru!
