Burgundian in style, this Yountville Pinot is bursting with flavor. A vibrant, but elegant and feminine wine with a beautiful balance between earth and red fruits. On the palate, ripe strawberry with spicy undertones. Bright mouth-feel with notes of mushroom and forest floor qualities. A mid- weight wine with the pure expression of the Pinot Noir grape. Slight oak for a smoky finish to frame and outline the wine.
The Elizabeth Rose Pinot Noir comes from a 450-acre vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley named Block House. Block House is the largest of our vineyards and is planted to several different grape varietals. All 100% Certified Organic. The situation of this vineyard, between two hills on the valley floor, allows for the San Pablo Bay breeze to come through, and give a cooling effect to the grapes.
