Maranges... An appellation in full flight which we have to take great care with in order to get the best from it. Le Goty is one of the best areas. The end of our rows are cheek to cheek with the Santenay Charmes. Planted in 1945, the vines' root system delve deep and produce a concentrated wine with an incredible colour of black ink. The grapes tend to mature late and we give them time to ripen fully to obtain the softest possible tannins. Then by vinifying delicately and quickly we allow the purity of the fruit to express itself.
