From the Archive
Fourteen months of ageing on the lees reveals the natural qualities of this exceptional wine. In its youth it already charms with its suppleness, its good length, and its floral notes, yellow fruits and citrus. As it ages a miracle occurs, a veritable metamorphosis. It assumes an intense golden hue and developes even more volume and substance.
From the Producer
Our plot nevertheless reveals a strong identity: concentrated on the lieu-dit "Les Petits Clos", extremely well exposed East-West, in the heart of the appellation. Its rich, red, clay-limestone soils, drawn upon by deeply-rooted vines planted in 1950, give the wine the roundness of great whie wines, heightened and balanced by a good mineral structure.
