From the Archive
Minuscule amounts of this are made and it’s powerful and weighty with a strong structure and earth character.
A touch of wood spice adds a bit of breadth to the earthy and distinctly somber dark berry fruit nose that introduces precise, intense and energetic flavors that culminate in a firm and mineral-inflected finish. Like the Gevrey villages this is not likely to be a good candidate for early drinking.
