A quietly refined Marsannay that marries earth‑tinged dark berry fruit with a noble sense of structure, offering both density and poise in equal measure. Its presence is contemplative not flamboyant, suggested by understated power rather than flamboyant expression.

From the Archive
Minuscule amounts of this are made and it’s powerful and weighty with a strong structure and earth character.
A touch of wood spice adds a bit of breadth to the earthy and distinctly somber dark berry fruit nose that introduces precise, intense and energetic flavors that culminate in a firm and mineral-inflected finish. Like the Gevrey villages this is not likely to be a good candidate for early drinking.
