The domaine does not grow Chardonnay, so they purchase grapes for this wine from the Ravry climat in Fixin. This wine is fresh and crisp as a result of fermenting the juice predominantly in stainless steel tanks, with a small percentage fermented in barrels for complexity and mouthfeel. These vines, rooted in clay-limestone soils, yield a pretty, mineral-driven wine accented by citrus and floral notes. The flavors display excellent structure and density and a long finish.
