A refined expression of Burgundian Aligoté from Benjamin Leroux, the 2021 Bourgogne Aligoté displays a pale lemon hue and exudes an elegant, graceful bouquet with fine texture and remarkable length, steering clear of the variety’s usual rustic leanings. Crafted from old‐vine Aligoté Doré parcels in Meursault and vinified with precision in WineGlobes, foudre and seasoned ovals, it offers a poised clarity and vibrant energy.

Terroir: The older half of vines are gobelet-pruned and located in Bouzeron, the other younger half are near Meursault
Benjamin first made this wine in 2016, using exclusively old Aligoté Doré vines from Bouzeron. The following year he included Aligoté from a newly-acquired vineyard worked by the Leroux team.
