From the Archive
St. Jacques is a small vineyard on the southern side of the appellation. There are only 2 owners of this vineyard, and Martin Bart is quite proud of it. It is a rich style, showing both black and red fruit notes, a lovely and delightful supple mouthfeel, and extremely pretty sweet fruit notes. It reminds me of a good Morey St. Denis in its combination of minerality and focused fruit. Quite spectacular!
